Hello,
I found my great-great grandfather Anders Anderson Wahlstrom GID No. 1005.2.60700 page 175 Solberga, Skaraborg Otterstad AI:9 1861-1865. Why does he use Anderson as a middle name? Also, I looked in the files for Tådene since he listed this as his birthplace, but I couldn't find or read his birth in this area. Under Flysttad, he has what looks like Emaus and the year 1860.
I also found a Family Group Record IGI on the LDS site,
www.familysearch.org, that lists Anders Wallstrom with a birth of 18 Dec 1824, Christening 19 Dec 1824 in Skredsvik, Goteborg Och Bohus, death 4 November 1898. His father is listed as Peter Wallstrom and Bortha Nilsdotter on this record. Batch No: 8326560, Sheet 62, Call No. 1395628 on film. Is Peter Wallstrom the correct father? I am not sure if this is possibly the same area as Tådene would be. I did look up GID 708.18.25200 Goteborg och Bohus Skredsvik C:4 Births,Deaths 1816-1861 and found a birth record for Anders, father Peter Wallstrom but was unable to read this page. Any help you can give is so much appreciated! I wish that my Swedish relatives had kept the language in America. Thank you in advance.
