Hello, my name is Ingrid, I am French and I am lucky to have Swedish ancestors.
Indeed, my great-grandmother, Armandine Quinaut married Gustaf Adolf Wennerstrom in France on June 15, 1918.
Gustaf was born in Eskilstuna (on May 23, 1891). His father was Wennerstrom Gustaf Adolf, born in Arboga (on March 6, 1853) and died in Eskilstuna (on April 15, 1922) and his mother was Berg Emma Christina born in Fellingsbro (on october 25, 1855) and died in Eskilstuna (on march 8, 1926).
In France we can consult marriage and death birth certificates online. But I don't know how that's possible in Sweden.
How do you do when you find an ancestor to find his place of birth and information about his parents?
Could you explain me how i can find my ancestors ?
Thanks.
Ingrid

You can access parish records for free through the Swedish National Archives:
https://sok.riksarkivet.se/digitala-forskarsalen

Starting with the birth record (giving the parents' names and domicile) you can find the family in the household census books.

Gustaf Adolf, born 1853, can be found in Arboga town with his father Gustaf Adolf, his mother Brita Catharina Berg, and his siblings Carl August (born 1848) and Josephina Carolina (born 1850):

Gustaf Adolf the elder was a shoemaker journeyman. On the page there's also the dramatic note that he committed suicide (hanged himself) September 9 1855.

And here is Emma Christina with her parents Erik Berg (crofter) and Anna Christina Andersdotter in Fellingsbro:

And don't forget that paeople here at the forum are helpful and are happy to answer questions.
