Help with translation of note in household census

Attached is a note from the 1872-1881 household census records of Valla, Tjörn.  This note comes from the notes column on the right side of the page, line number 15.  I cannot make out the words before the date.  I am not sure if this is an abbreviation of the words.  Can anyone figure out what this says?

Bev. för[?] Utr. Sjöf.

He has received a certificate for international seafaring (he is listed as Sjöm[an] = sailor). I guess tha certificate was needed if he applied for a Seafarer's discharge book.
