Need help with 1687 tax record in Gashult Söregård, Torpa parish

Can anyone help me understand the circled part of the attached tax record, the part about Jöns and his wife?  It looks like one of them has died and the other is overage (retired).

Some background: In 1687 there are listed: Lars/wife and Jöns/wife with the note.  After that, from 1689 through 1694 there are listed only Lars/wife, but no Jöns/wife.  in 1695 the widow Johanna appears.  There is a 1698 court case shows that a widow Johanna Swensdotter selling a parcel of land at Söregård Gashult to Johan Persson. 

From Sunnerbo Dombok 1698:

"Johan Peerßon i  Gaßhult  kiöpt af änckan Johanna  Swensdotter Ibm ¼ i  Södragd  Gaßhult  för   23 dl.r Smt, bref Dat. d 16 octob: 1697   ntbl upbiudes 1 g.n:

My goal is to figure out who Johanna Swensdotter was married to before she was widowed.  It would seem to be Jöns, but I don't think that is what the 1687 record is saying, although I'm not really sure.

And, there is also another short case from Sunnerbo Dombok 1678 that I don't understand at all - is Johanna standing in for someone?

Not sure if any of this will help clear up my question, but any help with the note on the 1687 tax record and with my understanding of the 1678 court case would be very much appreciated.

i.e. dödssjuk, deadly ill  (not dead), utgl, utgammal, very old

None of them is dead at this point

Approximately: Jöns in Össjöa frälsegård is fined 3 marks for being absent from court in the case between him and Johanna Swensdotter in Gashult

It does not really say if Johanna Svensdotter is the widow of Jöns in Gashult or not. What is evident is that she owns 1/4 of Gashult södergård at the time so unless she purchased it (at some time) she has inherited it (or owned it from before). You need to find more notes of Gashult ownership maybe?

Thanks for responding to the long question!  I've looked at everything I know of to find out - i have it narrowed down to a few, but nothing conclusive.  I have really found a lot though on this line using all the tools I've been given.    I'm am improving on reading the of the baptismal witnesses which has been a great help along with the tax records and court cases!  I am really appreciative of all the help I've been given! 

It's ok, maybe I'll learn more later!
