Need help with name on birth record

Could also be spelled Börje or Berge.

Berge looks somewhat familiar.  I was hoping for an Anders!    I know it's a stretch!

Almost looks like the ö got forgotten when Nils was changed. Anyway, a quick check in the tax register shows that a Börje Danielsson lived at Stråhult in 1747 so I think Ulf's reading is confirmed.

Thanks for checking that!  Anders Nilsson was also there in 1747. 

I was able to track Anders Nilsson at Stråhult from 1744 through 1765, then he just disappears (both he and his wife).  Not sure where they went.  His daughter, Elin (born 1745) is listed with Anders and his wife on the 1762 and 1763 tax records.  She is no longer listed in 1764 (she was married in 1763 so everything fits).  I checked through the 1788-1792 household records for Vrå in case they were still alive and still in that parish, but found nothing for them. 

There's no estate inventory. 

But, I'll look further for death records and other children.  So far, I've found neither. 

But, I'm still a lot further than I was with this piece of the family.      So, it's all good.

I did translate the note, using an online translator:

Född i ett soldattorp i Bäve socken, sedan många år boende i en backstuga i Håby socken 

which says:

Born in a soldier's croft in Bäve parish, for many years living in a back cottage in Håby parish. 

Is this accurate?  Who does this pertain to?

Have you researched the history of your property?  Has your family lived there a long time?
