Will someone help me translate the highlighted parts of the attached 1717 tax register?

https://app.arkivdigital.se/volume/v840175?image=2090&page=1365

The first part of the place name is Dragaryd but I cannot read the second word.

More importantly, I'd like to know what the note says regarding Bergqvist and Erik.  If anyone can help me with the translation, I would be very appreciative.  What I know is that Per Berqqvist was the soldier before Erik at Dragaryd Backstuga.  Bergqvist was soldier from 1709-1716.  Erik (Törnqvist) was the soldier from 1716-1739.

Thanks for any help with this,

Vicki Cihla

I think the first note is Drageryd landbog.(ård). Another farm in the village, or maybe just another name for one of the old farms.

Berghemstorp utan åbode = This place had no occupant.
Sochenskom: dr: Erik = parish shoemaker Erik, or if dräng means he just helped the shoemaker

Thanks very much!  So both 1717 and 1718 are basically saying the same thing?

I am really having trouble trying find which Erik could be the soldier.  I haven't seen any records that give a patronymic name for him.  When I find the name Törnqvist anywhere during the 1716-1739 timeframe, I am sure it is Erik, but I still don't know Erik who!

I have seen some records in Kånna Arvidsgarden I found a Per living there - maybe that, at least, might indicate Erik Persson's connection to that farm.  But, of course, nothing is certain.   And, Per is a very popular name!

There seems to be nothing proving that my Erik is the solder using the name Törnqvist as I can't even find him listed in the tax records for many of the years.  But, it puzzles me that a lot of the soldiers ARE listed, so I would wonder why Erik doesn't show up in the list.  There may be no explanation.

Thank you all so much for your help with this one - it has been very interesting!
