It is probably the child registered as Stina Märtha with parents Johan Engström and Anna Catharina Larsdotter in Krångede, Ragunda (Z) C:1 (1818-1860) Bild 1960 / sid 192 (AID: v115091.b1960.s192, NAD: SE/ÖLA/11087). At the time they are found in the Household Examination Ragunda (Z) AI:5 (1856-1861) Bild 1570 / sid 149 (AID: v115081a.b1570.s149, NAD: SE/ÖLA/11087). You have to follow them in HE to certify that it is the right person, but it is unlikely that it is not correct.

Thank you again Leif. I did not recognize the Catharina for Stina in the baptism record. I should know better by now...

I have her parent's names but not able to find specifics about them. I did find this however:

Her name when Stina Märtha was born was Anna Cajsa Larsdotter, born 1830-08-14, does that help?

I tried to find her in the Ragunda area but nothing. I mostly use Ancestry subscription service and the internet.

It seems like a lot of young men, specifically from Varmland, went to the Ragunda area and stayed and had families.

It looks like Lars August Andersson immigrated to the USA, like his half-sibling Märtha Christina Engström, and had a family there.
