Help with Location in Bottnaryd

Hello!

Can anyone tell me what is the notation to the left of Lars' name in the household examinations for 1760-1768 and 1776-1783 below? I believe it's the location Lökna, but it's difficult to tell for certain. Any thoughts are most welcome, and thank you!

John! I have looked at the Households lengths you entered. I`m sure you are right. It is St. Lökna, (Stora Lökna=Great? Lökna). There are two Lökna/Lyckna in Bottnaryd, Great and Little.

You will find Lars and Anna in Bottnaryd AI:2 (1760-1768), picture (bild) 9, page (sida) 5 and AI:2 (1770), picture (bild) 44, page (sida) 11, not in AI:2 (1776-1783), picture (bild) 92, page (sida) 37.

I have also found when Lars died, it was 1772-09-14, he was 88. Cause of death, "Hufvudsot=hjärhinneinflammation (meningit). See Bottnaryd CI:2, picture (bild) 131, page (sida) 255, Great Lökna (Stora Lökna).


Unfortunately, nothing has been found about Anna.


The son Carl was born 1731-11-10 as "Lars´ Child in Great Lökna (Larsas barn i St. Lökna). Bottnaryd CI:1 picture (bild) 89, page (sida) 173. Ded 1798-08-06 in Great Lökna (St.Lökna). He was 66. See Bottnaryd CI:2, picture (bild) 143, page (sida) 279.

This is just fantastic information! MANY thanks for taking the time to track it down and share it with me. I had a few of those household entries, but need to check my copies compared to your references to ensure I have all of the details you found. Also, I never had Carl Larsson's birth and death details, as those were not apparent to me during my initial research, so that's more great additional information. Thank you also for confirming my suspicion about Lökna, and for the explanation regarding Stora Lökna.

Nice to hear that you appreciate the information I sent. I download my data from The Archive Digital program that I has acces to.
