Lousia/ Louisa Anna born 1838

I was given the answer to go here to ask about a person I hope to find information for when I posted on English Discussions. But on a record of her in USA a source is: Okna town records.  A1:12 pp 466 (36-44)
Then I found on Internet
Okna is a small town in Sweden. Located in Vetlanda, Jönköping County, Götaland, Sweden
I did post the above info on English discussions. Anyway I am hoping for birth record and whatever information can be found for Louisa or Louisa Anna who was born 3 April or 23 April in Okna.
In 1900 Census record it has Immigration as 1866 and on 1910 it has 1869.

Lovisa was born April 3 1840 in Harghult, Ökna, parish in Jönköping county (administrative district) and Småland (geographical district).
Parents Anders Gustaf Åstrand and Stina Magnidotter.

Lovisa Andersdotter Åstrands parents died early. In 1846 the family moved to Näsäng, Torpa Eriksgård, Ökna (AI:13 Ökna p 316). Anders Gustaf Åstrand died 1850-03-26 and the mother Stina Magnusdotter died 1847-11-12.


Lovisa and two of her sisters Anna and Matilda can be found in the next parishrecord AI:14 Ökna p 164 Näsäng. Lovisa moved to Alseda parish in 1856 and AI:17 Alseda p 317. 1857 p 304, 1858 p 311, 1859 p 300 Holsby Rävgård and 1861 p 200 and Nyaby Östergård. AI:20 Alseda, Nyaby Östergård p 177 - Lovisa moves to Brännkyrka parish (close to Stockholm) in 1866-11-17. Brännkyrka BI:a:4 p 64 number 251, moves to Enskede p 3.

Lovisa Andersdotter Åstrand b 1844!-04-01! Ökna, from Alseda 1866. Her year of birth and birthday have been changed  when she moved to Brännkyrka as you can see...She moved to "Amerika", North America in 1868-04-05 (BIa:4 Brännkyrka p 76, number 20).

Someone else probably can help you, I don´t have any records of emigration available. There are some researchers at this forum who are experts in these matters and they can most certain help you. Let us wait and see...
