Help with death record

I am asking for help reading the death record for Olof Jakobsson in Bokenas C:3 Bild 101. Died 13 Aug 1827 buried Aug 19. I am hoping it will give information for me to find him in the Bokenas household exam. Someone else has him listed as the father of the Elias Olsson 1802 listed in Bokenas AI:8 309 (Torp Bredvik). I want to verify or rule him out. Thanks.

"gifte inh.(inhyses) manen Olof Jakobsson fr. (från) Båtsmanstorpet under St. Kärr f. 1775"

"Inhyses" means that he rented room so he was probably not living there for very long. You will find his widow and the son Elias in the link below:

Is the year 1775 the year of his birth? Does the 50-55 mean he was 50 years, and 55 days old at the time of his death? If so the numbers do not add up. He would have to have been born in the year 1777 to be 50 years old in 1827. Is vattersott(?) what he died from? Thanks for the help!

Yes, 1775 is the year of birth. 50-55 seems to be the age, normally they would write 52 years but here they seem to split it up in five years intervals. Vattusot(t) is what he died from, water disease, seems to translate to "edema".
