Carl Petter Samuelsson and Sara Stina Johansdotter married 24 August 1806 in Västra Eneby parish. Sara Stina lived in Slyckelund under Slycke together with her mother, Maria Persdotter, and stepfather, Gabriel Nilsson.
Carl Petter Samuelsson and his wife Sara Stina Johansdotter were born on the same day, 7 February 1782, in Norra Vi parish - see Norra Vi C:4, fol. 35v. Carl Petter was born in Slätthult, a croft under the manor Ribbingshov. His family moved later to other crofts, but in the early 1790s he left the family. His parents, Samuel Carlsson and Annika Börjesdotter moved in 1808 to Stensätter under Horva, Tidersrum parish, where they died, his father in 1818 and his mother in 1827.
In the birth record entry for Sara Stina Johansdotter it does not say where in the parish she was born. Her father, a corporal named Johan Woltenweber, is said to live in Karlskrona. When Sara Stina died in Muggebo under Vada in Oppeby parish 7 December 1851, her death record entry says that she was born in Skogatorpet, a soldier croft under Ribbingshov (more accurate under Kovrabo), which however is not possible to verify.
Sara Stina's mother Maria Persdotter is a bit of a mystery. In Västra Eneby A I:1, p. 194, she is said to be born 1751 in Tidersrum parish, but in later records 3 or 20 March 1760 in Tidersrum. The latter date is obviously wrong and the earlier date can not be verified. In her death record entry (she died 20 December 1836 in Slyckelund - se above) she is said to have married her first husband in Landskrona in 1776. Since her oldest child, a daughter named Johanna Johansdotter, is said to be born 1778 in Landskrona (which I have not been able to confirm), it is more probable that she was born earlier than 1760, and since she didn't have any children with her second husband, whom she married in 1794, I find it plausible that she was born around 1750. I have not been able to find any clues to her background. After the birth of Sara Stina, Maria moved on to Kisa parish, where she had an illegitimate daughter, Maria Sofia, born 1787 in Kölefors, whose father was a man named Erik.
Interesting enough, it was Paul Leonard Dandenell (1758-1817), later a lieutenant, who during his years as a volunteer 1780-1783 - when he probably was commanded to Karlskrona - was allotted to Kovrabo rote and Skogatorpet. Probably he let her stay in the croft. In 1789, when Maria Persdotter still lived in Kölefors, she had a illegitimate son with Dandenell, Johan Pålsson Norrbom.
