The school in Kristianstad from which my grandfather Anders Nilsson graduated at the age of 17 (c. 1874). His life as a sailor in the British Merchant Marine from c. 1876-1883, before he emigrated to Minnesota in 1885. Where his parents and sister Tilda are buried.

Övrigt (Other):

I visited descendants of my grandfather's brother, Sven Nilsson, in the Hjarsas area last May. Unfortunately, they knew little about the three brothers who emigrated. Evidently there was no communication once they left, or at least, none that has survived.
