I am trying to locate the origins of Andrew(Anders) Simberg. He was said to have born in Skaraborg Lan, on Mar. 28, 1834, and he died in South Haven, Minnesota. He emigrated to Minnesota, probably abou 1872-1873. He was married in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Marit Jonsson(Jonsdotter), Apr 28, 1875. Marit was born in Fryksande, Varmland on May 23, 1845, and died in South Haven, Minnesota.. I have information on her ancestry, but nothing of the ancestry of Anders.
Can anyone possible be of help?  Thank you.

02 Efterlysningar / Swedes living near Hamburg
« skrivet: 2021-01-30, 21:54 »
I am trying to locate the origins of two Swedish person who wear living in Harburg, near Hamburg(?), They are Johan George Gottfried August Nilson, born in Sweden about July 1851, and his wife Dorothee Charlotte Luise Larsdotter, born ca 1851 in Sweden, and ca 1929 in St. Paul, Minnesota. They had two children born in Marburg, Gemany--1, Anna Mathilda Amanda Charlotte, born in Harburg, Germany on Dec 7, 1874, and died in St. Paul Minnesota May 11 1939; 2, Georg Otto Salomon Nilsson, born Aug 2, 1876 in Harburg, and died there Jan 9, 1880. I am unsure when Johan Georg and his wife, Dorothee left for the USA, but there were living in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1885, In the USA Johan used the name John Nelson.
I wonder if the origins of the family could be found using passenger lists going to Hamburg or other sources. Thank you

Located probate record of Anders Landen, can anyone read the part about Anders Andersson Landin, mentioned in the will..Oppunda häradsrätt FII:10 (1812-1812) Image 40 / page 2 (AID: v147718a.b40.s2, NAD: SE/ULA/11151)

I have locate a probate for Anders Landin Gärds häradsrätt FIIa:96 (1849-1849) Image 960 / page 43 (AID: v157818.b960.s43, NAD: SE/LLA/10018) He and his family lived at Degebera, near Vittskovle.. I also located him in the first household register.. with possibly children of an earlier marriage I cannot tell. The person name Per Andersson is my great great grandfather. I would like to fill in missing gaps also.. Perhaps Anders was married twice, although I see no mention of other children in his probate record. Degeberga AI:1 (1825-1826) Image 51 / page 46 (AID: v98094.b51.s46, NAD: SE/LLA/13059) I attached a link to the household register and it is hard to read.  Also, I located the marriage of Per Andersson from the same farm as Anders Landin..Degeberga CI:2 (1750-1844) Image 2270 / page 447 (AID: v98114a.b2270.s447, NAD: SE/LLA/13059)

I am trying to find the birth place and date of Christian Andersson Hiort, who was supposedly born in Ystad(but I cannot find it there). Christian was a hatmaker, and possibly a soldier. He died in Lillehem, Maglahem on Aug. 23, 1802.  He was married to Elsa Malena Walkendorff, a daughter of Gustaf Walkendorff and Elisabet Moller.
