Please can I have some help with the note under the entry for Nils Andersson born in 1747 in Burträsk (No 3 in the image attached - page 158) - I can see "til Sveaborg 1785" and the final word looks like "död".

(It is likely that Nils was sent to the fortress as punishment for several crimes and probably died there)

General questions / Brita Greta Olofsdotter 1797-1860 - help with baptism entry

I would appreciate help to translate the baptism entry (first on the top left).

I think I am right with the first part but then I have difficulty with the rest:

“Storkåge. Maid Maria Olofsdotter’s child Brita M..ta born 18 August and baptised the same day, father Johan Johanson …"

General questions / Hans Andersson (1708-1783) from Svensbyn - Arvskifte translation help

I would appreciate some help translating the first paragraph of Hans Andersson's arvskifte (will) from Svensbyn, Piteå Lfs.

Hans appears to have died in 1783 but the names of the children listed do not tally with those that I have so I am wondering if the first paragraph explains things.

I would be grateful for help on the kreatur section of Per Wallström's estate inventory from Arjeplog in 1828.

The underlined parts are those I am not sure of:

1 brunt sto 14 år – 1 brown mare 14 years old
1 grått sto 7 år – 1 gray mare 7 years old
5 kor – 5 cows
Halften uti en 2 års oxe – half a 2 years old ox ?
17 gamla får – 17 old sheep
7 lamb – 7 lambs
8 jetter  - ?
1 bock – 1 goat
2 bock killingar – 2 kids (young goats)
28 way renar – 28 ? reindeer ?
5 ox renar – 5 ox? Reindeer ?
6 gamlare och yngre brun renar – 6 old and young brown reindeer ?
8 kalfvar – 8 calves

I am stuck on 12 terms in my 3 times great grandfather Jonas Wahlberg (1830-1909) estate inventory - Skellefteå-tingslags-häradsrätt-AC-FII-68-1909- Images - 4360 - 4390 Jonas Wahlberg (Nr 165):

2 Konchaller (Image 4380 under Möbler och husgeråd). Shelf brackets?
1 spis on häng (Image 4380 under Möbler och husgeråd). Stove hooks?
1 Klädes list (Image 4380 under Möbler och husgeråd). Strip of cloth?
1 par Refträn (Image 4380 under Möbler och husgeråd). No idea.
2 Fötagen damecharer (Image 4390 under Möbler och husgeråd). Paraffin lamps?
1 Pitshl (Image 4390 under Åker och köredskap). No idea.
1 Åkerhult (Image 4390 under Åker och köredskap). Field?
1 kibbik – (Image 4390 under Åker och köredskap). No idea.
2 tjalkar – (Image 4390 under Åker och köredskap). No idea.
1 wattstötting med kar (Image 4390 under Åker och köredskap). Something with cart?
Enl räkning (Image 4390 under Boets skulder). I know they are debts owed to 3 people’s accounts but what does “enl”? mean.
Skutsar (Image 4390 under Boets skulder). After Jonas Wahlberg from Ursviken – Jonas was a hemmansägare so I do not think it is an occupation.

General questions / Sami and Nybyggare

I am starting to research my Västerbotten and Norrbotten ancestors and I am wondering if there are any tips on how to identify Sami - apart from the use of Lappmanen (?) before the first names and Lappby (Sami villages) in the Household examination books?

I understand that some Sami could be listed as nybyggare (settlers).

I know there is a recent book out - Samiska Rotter - but my ability to read Swedish is a bit limited.

Arjeplog / Justina Fjellström 1686-1762

I am researching by 8 times great grandmother Justina Fjellström and would really appreciate some help regarding her marriage to Stor Zachri/Zachris Johansson.

She is mentioned in Petrus Læstadius' book Forsättning af journalen öfver missions-resor i Lappmarken... (page 232) and I have asked for help on the Discussions in English pages for references to her from the Västerbottens lappmarkers domböcker (Lappmarkens justitiarius arkiv) AI:2 (1706-1715).

I have her later marriage and death records from Finland and details of her son Pehr Zachrisson 1714-1764, but any details on her earlier marriage would be great.

I would really appreciate some help with the attached from Västerbottens lappmarkers domböcker (Lappmarkens justitiarius arkiv) AI:2 (1706-1715).

They appear to be related to Justina Fjellström or her husband Zachris Johansson from Arjeplog.
