Hello. My name is Kenneth James Deyenberg. I live in Canada, in the province of Saskatchewan. I found your site by accident and wondered if by chance we might be related somehow as our family is of Swedish ancestry and as far as we know have no known relatives.
My grandfather August Olaf (or Olaf August) Deyenberg born Feb.7 1866 married Augusta (?) born March 11, 1863. They emmigrated from Sweden to the United States in 1895 and settled for a time is Ashtabula, Ohio.
In 1906 (?) they emmigrated to Canada and settled near the village of Elbow in the Province of Saskatchewan. They had five Children Karl Victor, Vansal Knute (my father), George, Ellen and Wilhelm Claus. I believe the eldest three were born in Sweden and the youngest two in the US.
The only other clue I can offer is that my grandfather was a skilled carpenter. Thank you for any assistance you can offer.
