The divorce was granted in 1859, this from the Divorced in Stockholm CD which lists the Stockholms stads konsistorium (clerical court) decisions on divorces. The original documents can be ordered from Stockholm City Archives (www.ssa.stockholm.se). There will also be civil court records which are very detailed. Divorce was uncommon and difficult to get, although easier than in Britain. Post 760
