I am looking for information on Lisa Adamsdotter Hollsten, born in Fryksände in 1798, daughter of Anna Kajsa Gevert, born in 1761 in Spjutbäcken, Varnum, and Adam Kristofferson Hollsten, born in 1763 in Berga, Sunne. The reason for my interest is I believe that she was the mother of my gr-grandfather Karl Göransson, born on December 10, 1824,in Oleby, Fryksände. I have tried for a long time, to no avail, to find out who Karl's father was.
Karl came to America at the age of 57 with his wife and three sons and had a blacksmith business in Worcester, Massachusetts.
I would be so appreciative if anyone could help me with any information.
