I have had the impression that lagmannen Lars Petersson actually was not a husband of Benedikte Sunadotter, but the one who abducted her from the Vreta convent. Isn't it so?
Further, I think standard literature treats Svantepolk Knutsson as Benedikte's only husband and father of her children.
Is there any signs that Lars Petersson actually married Benedikte. And if so, did he die early in order to Svantepolk to marry her when she yet was young?
Further, are there any signs that Benedikte bore any children to her abductor?
Yet a comment: if Benedikte was abducted, kidnapped, by Lars Petersson, would Benedikte's relatives (such as the Hama) be afterwards in happy relations with Lars' family? I think it is too much seen to assume some alliance relation between these two families on basis of Benedikte, who after all seems to have violently abducted, an issue which in those days created decades of vendetta, as it breached the abductee's clan's honor.
