As you note, Arthur Johan Fredrik's family did establish themselves in Australia (see Sveriges Riddarskap och Adels Kalender 1989, Stockholm, p. 128); as did his uncle Hugo Wilhelm du Rietz (ibid., p. 130), the architect (b. 1831, d. 1908), and the son of Johan Fredric Du Rietz (see below) (b. 1778, d. 1856), a lietennant in 1802. Hugo's mother Ulrica Charlotta (also below) was the daughter of Pehr Borgh (awarded the Royal Order of Vasa) and Anna Margareta Unger.
The following lineage of Arthur Johan Fredrik is extracted from Gabriel Anrep, Svenska Adelns Ättar-Taflor, Stockholm, 1858: vol. 1, pp. 617-21. (Please note: I do not have access to the more reliable Elgenstierna, so I urge all to ascertain the veracity of the information, before citing it, if at all.). I regretfully do have any further information on Hugo Wilhelm du Rietz.
