In that case it does indeed seem more likely that Karl Laurensson was not Mogens' father, if there is old family tradition that states otherwise. Exactly little details like that - what the early Blixes knew, what they did, how they lived their everyday lives - interests me, but I don't know how to find out more. I'd like to get deeper than just a list of names and dates. Maybe I'd better take a second look about the Hovdsjö site, I think there was a list of literary references there. Than I can ask the Library of the Genealogical Society of Finland to get those books etc. that are not yet available here.
