The World Archives Project, ett registreringsprojekt i regi av ancestry.com. The World Archives Project lets anyone from the genealogy community help bring FREE historical record collections to the public. Contributors become the first to see new collections as they type in information that creates searchable record indexes.. Oavsett vad man tycker om att ett vinstdrivande företag håller i detta så innebär det ändå att fler register blir åtkomliga. Hur användbara de öppna registren blir återstår väl att se.
