A fully searchable online edition of the largest body of texts detailing the lives of non-elite people ever published, containing accounts of over 100,000 criminal trials held at London's central criminal court.

The project has launched with 22,000 trials, from December 1714 to December 1759. The release of the remaining 78,000 trials will occur in batches, roughly according to the following timetable:
* 1760 to 1799: July 2003 * 1674 to October 1714: Autumn 2003 * 1800 to 1834: Spring 2004
