In US Naturalisation Index I found: (Not  dated)
Nelson (Nilsson) Sven Edward ( Sven Edvard)
Adress: 1838 S.Michigan Ave. Chgo. Ill.
Born in Sweden Mar. 18, 1904
Arrived to New York, N.Y. April 12, 1922.
Additional information: Name changed by court order from Sven Edvard Nilsson to Sven Edward Nelson.
 
I tried to find him in 1930 Census and in WW2 drat registrations without success.
