Torbjörn and Björn. Hello and thank you so much for your replies. As a result of your comments, I dug deeper into the parentage of the Nils Matson Sr I mentioned in my above message. I have contacted many of the Ancestry.com tree owners and some replied. They can not confirm his parents. I have decided to remove Matthias and Anna as his parents. However, that still makes Nils Matson my father's 15 gr-grandfather and I would still like to work on his heritage. Hopefully it is Finnish. Bjorn, thank you for the link to the Archive database. I looked through it but could not find anything to help. Also I wanted to say I am sorry about using the double name for Anna's time period. Since I researched my husband Swedish heritage, I should have remembered that, but I did not. If anyone is working on this Matson line, I would love to hear from them.
