Hello Sweden, I wonder if I could find someone working on or has information about: Mathias Matson b: 12 Feb 1595 in Sweden, d: 14 Dec 1629 in Sweden. I do not know the Parish? ... + Anna Kajsa Ersdotter b: 24 Jul 1604 in Säfsnäs, Dalarnas, Sweden, d: 13 Nov 1682 in Säfsnäs,Dalarnas, Sweden ......Son - Nils Matson Sr b: 1628 in Silleson, Sodermanland, Torshalla, Sweden, d: Mar 1701 in Glouchester, NJ This Mathias Matson/Mattson was my father's 16th gr-grandfather. Some of the family trees on Ancestry.com claim that Mathias Matson's father was born in Finland. No name or exact place listed. I have written to the owners of the trees asking for documentation but no one has any. If Mathias was born in Sweden, would not his father has had to file immigration papers of some kind? This would be major in my research since I know from Ydna testing by my brother and Uncle that we are N1c1 and of the Forest Finns. I would be most grateful for any help.
