Services for Janet M. (Beals) Norlin, 82, of Hambden Township, will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St. [on SR [State Route] 44, 500 feet south of Route 6/ Chardon Square], Chardon.
Mrs. Norlin died Dec. 14, 2002, at Burton Health Care.
Born May 31, 1920, in Vevay, Ind.[Indiana], she lived in Hambden Township since 1952.
She received her RN [Registered Nurse degree] from Portsmouth General Hospital in 1940. She was a member of the Hambden Congregational Church.
Mrs. Norlin was a registered nurse at Geauga Community Hospital in Claridon Township from 1964 until her retirement in 1982. She specialized in physical therapy and rehabilitation of children crippled by polio. She previously worked at the Society for Crippled Children in Painesville.
Survivors are her brothers, Robert C. [Shirley] Beals of Bedford, Texas, and Harold O. (Mildred) Beals of Opelika, Ala [Alabama].
Her Husband, Lawrence Norlin, whom she married August 18, 1951, in Cleveland, is deceased. Her parents, Colonzo C. and Glendora (Scudder) Beals and brother, Garold C. Beals are also deceased.
Pastor Ray Mullet of Hospice of Care Corp. [Corporation] in Chardon will officiate at services. Burial will be in Hambden Cemetery.
