I'm hoping that someone can help me. I am working on genealogy for my Grandmother's 90th birthday on July 12. Her grandfather was John Lind, born June 1860 and her grandmother was Mathilda Lind (maiden name unknown).
The only records I have are as follows:
Per the 1900 Census John Lind, Bord June 1860, Immigrated to US: 1882 ended up in Chicago, possible sister Mary, married in 1891 in Chicago Mathilda Lind, Born Nov 1865, Immigrated to US: 1885, ended up in Chicago
I've really hit a wall as my grandmother and her cousin have no information on John's possible father.
I also don't have a possible birth location.
I am hoping if the emmigration record if found may give birth location, and the on from there.
