BERG HARRY FARIBAULT DAILY NEWS 17/DEC/1923 FUNERAL SERVICES FOR HARRY BERG, 9 YEAR OLD SON OF MR. & MRS. CARL BERG WERE HELD SATURDAY. THE YOUNG BOY DIED AFTER A SHORT ILLNESS. INTERMENT WAS MADE IN MAPLE LAWN CEMETERY.

Berg Carl A. Faribault Daily News 05/Feb/1953 Funeral rites for Carl A. Berg, 69, were held Monday, February 1, at 2 p.m. at the First English Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Stewart Dale officiating. Mr. Berg passed away suddenly at his home, 326 Fourth Ave., N. W., on Thursday, January 29. Dr. E. E. Luhring sang Beautiful Saviour and Rock Of Ages at the funeral service. Interment was made in Meadow Ridge Memorial Park. Pallbearers were Arthur Boldt, Arthur Pofahl, John Sommerness, Herman Dahlke, Conrad Johnson, and Harry Best. Mr. Berg was born in Smoland, Sweden, July 31, 1883, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Johann Berg. His marriage to Jennie Samuelson took place in Rockford, Illinois, February 28, 1912. He made his home in Faribault for 40 years. Mr. Berg was a member of Faribault Lodge No. 9, Ancient Free and Accepted Masons. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Howard of Fort Collins, Colorado, and Harold and John of this city; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Alma Aaronson of Rockford, Illinois, and Mrs. Anna Frojd of Sunbyberg, Sweden; and four brothers, Fritz Berg of Rockford, Ill., Erick and Martin of Atvidaberg, Sweden, and Otto of Linkoping, Sweden. One son, Harry, preceded him in death. Friends and relatives from away who attended the funeral were: Howard Berg, Fort Collins, Colorado; A. J. Larson, Rockford, Illinois; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Fancher, Janesville, Wisconsin; Mr. and Mrs. Donald Paulsen, Anoka; Mr. Conrad Johnson and Miss Annie Johnson. Millersburg; Mr. and Mrs. Iver Johnson Dundas; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Gess and Mr. and Mrs. David Fischer, Nerstrand; Mr. and Mrs. Ed Fischer, Kenyon; Mr. and Mrs. Orwin Rustad, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sandager, and Mr. and Mrs. Willie Wolf, Northfield.
