I am writing a report on Swedish immigrants in Ct. I have just transcribed a list of the the people in the Calvary Swedish Baptist Church in Meriden, Ct. 1887 to about 1930. I have place of origins for many of them. I hope to match then with folks in Embiweb and other places. Perhaps I can find some info using your forum. My great granddad was a member of the church, briefly he emigrated in 1880. My great grandad and grandmom were: Per Erik Söderlund Glans (Peter Glantz) b. 1835 Matfors, Tuna Parish, and 2nd wife Carin Lax (Karlsdotter), daughter of Karl Magnus Lax. I have a complete (almost) history for Peter ... hope to find as much for the other members of the church and other Swedish immigrants in Meriden and other places in CT. This is fashioned after a master's proposal.
