London Gazette 14 aug 1951: NOTICE is hereby given that PETER ANTHONY SANDYS of 5, Hogarth Road, Earls Court, S.W.5, in the county of London, an Engineer, a citizen of the United Kingdom and Colonies by birth heretofore called and known by the name of Peter Anthony Hales born Anthony Sandys, has renounced and abandoned the name of Peter Anthony Hales and has assumed and intends henceforth on all occasions whatsoever and at all times to sign and use and to be called and known by the name of Peter Anthony Sandys in lieu of and in substitution for his former name of Peter Anthony Hales, and that such change of name is formally declared and evidenced by a deed poll under his hand and seal dated the 27th day of November 1950 duly executed and attested and enrolled in the Central Office of the Supreme Court of Judicature on the 8th day of August 1951.-Dated this 9th day of August 1951.
