In Sten Aminoff book, Svenskava i Nya Zeeland he mentions a Jan Eric Norberg who nationalised himself twice and used the name of John Mattsen or Mattson.
This is my G Grandfather, and I want to trace any information I can on him. I have records of his birth, his parents details and he was still listed as living in Sweden up to 1895 in Pitea per the Vaddo church records.
He seemed to arrive in New Zealand some how between 1895 and 1899. If anyone could help I would really appreciate it.
