Patricia F. McHugh. MARLBOROUGH - Patricia F. (Pistenmaa) McHugh, 71, formerly of Stow, Gloucester and Salisbury, died Tuesday, May 1, 2007, in New Hampshire. She was the former wife of Robert L. McHugh. Born in Gloucester, she was the daughter of the late Urho and Winifred (White) Pistenmaa. She attended Gloucester schools and graduated from Gloucester High School in 1954. She was a former employee of Data Terminal of Acton and the U.S. Postal Service in Newburyport. After becoming a Stow resident in 1955, she was active as a den mother with the Boy Scouts in Stow and was the owner of the Copper Mine in Hudson, a copper gifts store. She enjoyed spending time in Salisbury Beach, the N.H. coastal region and in Bath, N.H., where she recently bought property. Her passion for precious minerals made her an avid mineral and stone collector and she traveled throughout the country prospecting. Besides her former husband, she leaves five children, Dennis V., Lauri P., Darren P. and John F.K. McHugh and Wendy M. Madden; her siblings, Elizabeth Ann Strope of Walnut Creek, Calif., and J. Elliot Pinstenmaa of Gloucester; eight grandchildren; and her nieces and nephews, Karen, Sheryl, Sue, Mike, Monica, Judy, Erikka and Rebecca. She was the mother of the late Robert L. Tiger McHugh Jr. and Keith P. McHugh, and grandmother of the late Jessica Patricia McHugh. A funeral Mass will be held Saturday, May 5, at 10 a.m., at St. Ann Church, 60 Prospect St., Gloucester. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Gloucester. Visiting hours are today, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the Dee Funeral Home of Concord (www.deefuneralhome.com), 27 Bedford St., Concord Center.
