Hej Anders- Thanks so much for your information. I would love to read your paper....but then it's probably in Swedish.... From your note I was not sure if Skåne was in Landby,but from the records I saw the torp was in this village. Is there another name now for the area previously know as Landby? Or is it just a very rural area? The Moberg's also moved to Halland torp, then Anders died in 1824, so Maja and Inga moved to Gustorp, then Fbidem(sp?)(all in Landby). Anders was a day laborer, so maybe worked at the Viby estate? And another family whose father was also a day laborer lived with them at Skåne and Halland. Interesting to follow the family and try to figure out what their lives were like.
