Jönköping is a town in the province Småland. The town is divided between the parishes Jönköpings Sofia and Jönköpings Kristina (contemporary names). There is a discussion under Landskap>Småland>Socknar>Jönköping. Hestra is a quite common placename in southern Sweden, in Småland at least 10 places, but no parish has that name. There is a township Hestra in the parish Norra Hestra (no discussion found)and also a parish Södra Hestra, a discussion of which can be found under Landskap>Småland>Socknar>Södra Hestra.
