I have no additional information in this matter, but two small but vital corrections to offer.
 
1) Jonas Andersson´s title riksdagsman is more like congressman than senator.
 
2) He lived in Polackhemmet in SÄBY parish in Småland, neighbouring to Torpa parish in Östergötland.
