I am traveling to Sweden in late July and early August and will be attempting to locate some distant relatives from my grandfather's side of the family. He changed his name from Carlsson to Lindell when he came to the USA. Here is information about him I have received from the emigration records office in Vadstena:
Carl Gustaf Carlsson, born 1870-06-13 in the parish of Hägerstad emigrated from Smedstorp, Nedra Drättinge in the parish of Hägerstd to North America 1890-02-28. His sister Maria Charlotta Carlsdotter, born 1863-12-12 in Hägerstad emigrated from the same place to North America 1891-03-13. Their parents were Carl Johan Andersson, born 1826-08-10 in Hägerstad and Lovisa Falk, born 1831-06-11 in the parish of Tjärstad (married in 1857)
Are there folks out there on this forum who are connected to this family? Or know of anyone who is?
