Fredrik Theodor Bergling (f 23/5/1834 i Risinge) married Carolina (Ejgil) Eigel(f 9/1/1838 i Vreta Kloster)The couple and their 3 children left Bänorp, Ljung 5/6/1869 for the USA. They obtained land through the homestead act near Albert City, Iowa, and farmed. Their chidren were Adolph Fredric (1861) Emma Carolina (1864), Axel Theodor (1868),Ida (1870),and Hilda Amelia (1872). An account of their experiences and the founding of Svenska Lutherska kyrkan, Ljunghed (name changed later to Our Savior's) was published in a Centennial Book 1873-1973 by Our Savior's Lutheran Church of Albert City.
