Greetings,
I am seeking information about my great-great-great grandparents.
Samuel de Grade and Johanna Berggren were married on 20 October 1822 in Norrkoping, St. Hedvig's church. He was 27 and she 26.
I have not been able to find any information on where they were born, their parents, etc.
I know that they had four sons--two of which reached adulthood. Their first son, Samuel Herrman (born in 1825 Norrkoping, St. Hedvig) is my great-great grandfather who had his family in Stockholm.
Samuel and Johanna's fourth son, Oscar was born in Stockholm in August 1838- he died there in 1839. This information was in St. Hedvig's church records. The family stayed in Stockholm. I do not know why they went to Stockholm.
In the birth records of two (2) of the sons, a jungfru, Lovisa Berggren, is mentioned. She is the only family name that I have come across in church records.
My Swedish grandmother was always courious about her family name of de Grade and it's origins.
Any assistance/information, would be greatly appreciated.
