I am researching the Melin family of Norrköping. In 1923 Fritz Gustaf Melin, born 7 February 1898, resident of Norrköping, came to the U.S., along with his wife, Rosa/Rosalie, and two children. One was their daughter, Dorothy Viola, age 2, but the other was listed as Fritz' nephew, Nils Lennart Melin, age 1. Both children were of course born in Sweden. Who was Nils Lennart? Who were his parents?
The family's destination was Christine, North Dakota, where Fritz' mother, Hulda Melin, lived. Fritz' brother, Nils Melin, had come there the year before (1922). I am looking for information about this Melin family in Sweden. Fritz listed his nearest relative in 1923 as his aunt, Karin Melin, who lived at Folkungagatan 18B in Stockholm.
Any information about this family (which sometimes used the spelling Maline in America) will be appreciated by U.S. relatives.
