Thank you for the information. I see that I missed them at Hägerstad AI:4 (1811-1817) Image 41 / page 71 (AID: v26020.b41.s71, NAD: SE/VALA/00151), which shows Mans death and their move to N Arteryd in 1815. This image also provides his birth date as 25 Sep 1756. Unfortunately, the birth records for that time are very bad. It looks like his birth is listed on Hägerstad CI:1 (1676-1761) Image 175 / page 341 (AID: v37882.b175.s341, NAD: SE/VALA/00151) about halfway down the left page. Do you agree? Can you read anything here about his parents?
