Hej Stefan, A thousand Thanks for the information. I guess that explains why I cannot find a death record for him here in the USA. The ship manifest said the family was bound for Bishop Hill, Illinois, but eventually came to Minneapolis, Minnesota. Olof Soderholm and his family lived next to my family in north Minneapolis and so I knew them well.
Katarina Brigitta died in Minneapolis on 26 Feb 1929 and was buried at Crystal Lake Cemetery in Minneapolis on 1 Mar 1929.
Olof died in Minneapolis on 23 Dec 1955 and was buried at Crystal Lake Cemetery on 27 Dec 1955.
I cannot find any information on Jonas.
Johan Axel died in Minneapolis on 14 Apr 1973 and was buried at Crystal Lake Cemetery on 18 Apr 1973.
