Hello, I am seeking some help identifying my GGGrandfather, Peter Telin, Arnäs Parish. I have been told that Peter Telin was a person who was born in Arnäs Parish in 1803, but had changed his name from Per Gethings some time after birth. It is reported that he married a Lena Stina Persdotter in Arnäs; she was also born in 1803. They had several children, one of whom was Johan Gustaf Telin, born in Trehörningen, in 1835 -- he later (1870) changed his surname spelling in Parish records to Thelin. The family seemed to move around between Trehörningen, Westerlansjö and Utanlandsjö, with my GGrandmother Anna Kristina Jonsdotter ending up in Faresta in the 1890 Census. The reported name change from Per Gethings to Peter Telin has stopped my research, as it just just does not compute in my old Swedish head. I would appreciate any help straightening me out and allowing me to continue my research. Thank You!! Wayne Johnson
