Even though your 3G was a catholic all church records were done by the swedish state church (Lutheran). So you should search your 3G in the records of the parish of Skövde.
In addition to that the catholic church might have their own membership records at that time, but I don't think so. In the 1860s there were very few catholic believers in Sweden. There were only 4 catholic churches (primarily for foreign sailors) at that time: In Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö and Gävle.
Most probable your 3G was the only catholic believer in Skövde at that time.
In 1855 there were only one foreigner living in Skövde city of 1262.
