My Great - Great Grandfather Oliver Lövander b.11 Apr 1862 in Skövde, SE was a catholic in that region of Sweden until his departure in 1890. how can I find records from Catholic church if it wasn't so common or practiced at that time? Was it underground? or were there actual churches and church parishes established? If so, I really need to get a hold of his records, as we know very little about his parents Karna Olsen? (olsdotter) and his father Lovander from Deutcheland, Germany. Any help would be wondeful!
