Research query Looking for ancestors of Karl Svensson, born Jan. 15, 1850 in Ryda parish, Skaraborg, Västergötland. Left Sweden in 1887 and died 1930 in Des Moines, Iowa.
Result Source:Högby parish household records Steelworker Karl Svensson b. July 15 1850 in Ryda, Skaraborg. W. Carolina Johansdotter, b. Feb 29 1856 in Åsaka parish, Skaraborg, Västergötland province. S. Sven Gottfrid b. 25 Apr. 1880 in Arbrå parish, Gävleborg province D. Maria Victoria b. 22 March 1883 in Högbo parish, Gävleborg province. S. Carl Simon b. 10 Aug. 1885 in Högbo. The family got their letter of emigration April 5, 1887, when they lived in Sandviken, Högbo parish.
