Levene is a small farmers -place i Västergötland, Sweden. It doesnt have an english equivalent straight off, but if you strip out the last 3 letters, you get live. Most older farmerplaces are built up like this, some word that means something that has gotten a suffix.
Its as far as I know not a military name. Pronounced Lev e ne (Leeeev ene)
As for a town, the town of Levene if pretty dull and doesnt have much of a story.
