N. Field Winn Died August 31, 1990 in Chico, California.
Born August 8, 1910 in Tooele, Utah to Norman B. and Sigrid A. Winn. Married Roma Tueller September 26, 1941 in Salt Lake City. Field was educated in the Tooele Schools, the University of Utah, University of California, University of Wisconsin, and the University of Washington, where he earned his Phd. He taught English at Tooele High School then at the U of U, and the University of Washington, before moving on to a professorship at Chico State in California.Survived by his wife, Roma, Chico, Calif.; son, Denis and six grandsons, all Diamond Springs, Calif.; brother, Dale E. Winn; and sister, Joyce W. Taylor; and two nieces, all Salt Lake City.
Burial in the Tooele City Cemetery with brief graveside services Thursday, September 6, at 2 p.m.
