Hi,
According to the Söder CD, the mor of my farmor was born in Hofva, which I think was the old spelling for Hova. The family (father, mother, and three children) lived in Stockholm with an older woman born in Amnehärad, which seems fairly close to Hova.I wonder if that woman might be the mother of my farmor's mor.
My farmor's mor was Matilda Ekman, born 19 February 1854 in Hofva, Skaraborgs län.She died in Stockholm 28 February 1882.
That mysterious woman was the tailor's widow Kajsa Johansson, born 2 October 1814 in Amnehärad,Skaraborgs län.
The family left the Söder district soon after the death of Matilda, so that CD has no more information on Kajsa.
