SOFIA Anderson, born 17 December 1863, Kirketorp, Skaraborg, Sweden, arrived in America from Skövde, Skaraborg, in 1888, received at church 5 August 1888, Rockford, Illinois.
 
I do not know if Kirketorp (KYRKETORP) refers to a place or parish.
She was NOT from Norra Kyrketorp or Södre Kyrketorp. I have checked those.
 
I have found this place named Kyrketorp in Töreboda kommun:
-Fredsberg Parish, Töreboda kommun - Kyrketorp, a samlad bebyggelse ca 5.5 km north-northeast of Töreboda
 
I do not know for certain that her last name was Anderson in Sweden.
 
Might she be from FREDSBERG? I am looking for her parents' names, too.
