God Jul, Hej: My great-grandfather is Karl Erik Strom born 10 December 1856, Avesta, Sweden. He died 02 February 1928 at Linkoping Hospital. He married (my great-grandmother)Anna Louisa Boholm on 03 June 1878 in Avesta, Sweden. Anna was born 23 August 1855 Brattforsbruk, Garpenberg, Sweden. Karl Erik Strom was an open-hearth melting master at the Boxholm ironworks in Avesta. Their marriage produced 4 sons: Verner, Phillip, Bertil, David .... and 1 daughter: Anna. I descend directly from Bertil Strom who emigrated to the United States in 1904. Bertil married Emma Julia Larson (the daughter of Swedish emmigrants to the U.S.)on 01 May 1907 at Boone, Iowa, USA. Bertil and Emma produced 7 children. I will gladly share my Strom - Boholm family history.
